Don't know why this is appearing in my feed in 2024, but the video quality is quite good for 2013. I wasn't familiar with this gentleman but he seems quite the capable character. Reminds me somewhat of Darren McGavin. Sorry to hear he's passed on, but this video brightened my day and maybe that's a little bit of legacy.

I have never been able to understand the mindset of these men who become obsessed like this. There is a beautiful shoreline, and the guy needs to cement over it. But these guys can't just cement in a nice small staircase. No, they have to turn the entire wilderness into what is essentially a carpark. Weird.
